Replacing spreadsheets without stopping the business
A staged approach to migration that keeps operations running while records move.

Nobody can stop trading for a migration. Here is the order that keeps the business running while the spreadsheets go.
Migrate in the order the business feels it
Start with the function that costs most in chasing, usually operations.
Bring across live records first, archive history second.
Run one reporting line in parallel for a single cycle, not three.
Switch the source of truth deliberately, on a date, with an owner.
Decide what not to bring
Most spreadsheets carry years of columns that exist because someone once needed them. Migration is the cheapest opportunity you will get to stop maintaining them. Agree what is genuinely required before anything moves.
Keep the trail intact
Where records carry obligations — contracts, certificates, approvals — preserve dates and versions rather than flattening to a current state. That history is the part an auditor will want.
We run guided implementation with every rollout, including migration and parallel running. Talk to sales about a realistic timeline.
